Firstly, you are NOT crazy!

You can imagine that one day it will all turn out fine. It won't. This is abuse.

As soon as you are walking on eggshells around someone who is supposed to make you feel safe...this tells you the problem is REAL.

You must understand that it will not get better. The cold silences for days on end and the subtle comments will leave your self esteem on the floor. Years of this kind of abuse will really break you. Sounds like a classic narcissist...clever and manipulative...if it's not his way, it's no way.

I wish I could have known more about these type of people ...I wish someone could have told me this in the early days.

You have to do something drastic now. Don't wait. It does not get better. I have been there.

Do not inflict this type of person on children. It will damage their future relationships.
