When this happened the third time, i am sure it was really unnerving.

I made sure to keep it by my side at the grocery. And after I got on the bus with everything, as I sought to put it in the grocery bag, I took the notebook from the bag just to admire it. But as I tried to shut the window on the bus, it slipped out and dropped on the wet, muddied floor. I obviously couldn’t give it to her.
